Through Perry Growth Systems, Michael helps clients build contract pipelines, strengthen market positioning, improve proposal alignment, and create practical CRM environments that support both business development and marketing.
Michael’s expertise in strategic communications extends across public affairs, public relations, media engagement, and social media. He understands that communications is not a separate function from growth—it is the connective tissue between a company’s capabilities, its market reputation, its customer relationships, and the decisions buyers make. That perspective informs how he structures CRM databases, develops messaging, supports product and service marketing, and prepares companies to compete for public-sector work.
A retired U.S. Army Armor Officer with a background in public affairs and strategic communications, Michael brings the discipline of military planning together with the relationship skills of an experienced sales professional. He has operated in demanding environments where clear communication, preparation, sound judgment, and accountable execution were essential. Those qualities continue to shape his approach to capture strategy, proposal development, and client service.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Public and Social Services from Kennesaw State University, with a minor in Criminal Justice. His academic foundation in public service, institutions, and communities complements his professional experience communicating with government, business, media, and public audiences.

Michael currently works directly in federal business development—building relationships, researching and qualifying opportunities, developing pipelines, preparing sources-sought and proposal responses, and helping companies improve their probability of winning. He completed the GovClose Certification Program, an implementation-focused course of study in federal opportunity identification, qualification, procurement, pipeline development, positioning, and capture strategy.

United States Army · Texas Army National Guard · 2005–2025
Major Michael “Mike” Perry joined the United States Army in June 2005, answering the call to serve during a time of war. After completing Basic Combat Training, Officer Candidate School, and the Armor Officer Basic Course, he reported to Fort Hood, Texas, for assignment with 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment.
Assigned to Eagle Troop, Mike served as a Tank Platoon Leader and Troop Executive Officer before becoming the Squadron Logistics Officer. He deployed with the Regiment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 2007–2009, completing 15 months of combat service in Iraq.
Following the Maneuver Captains Career Course at Fort Benning, Georgia, Mike returned to Fort Hood and joined the 504th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade. He served as an Assistant Operations Officer and was subsequently selected to command the 509th Brigade Support Company. He commanded the company during its deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 2011–2012 in Afghanistan before returning to Fort Hood.
After completing his Regular Army active-duty service, Mike continued serving in the Texas Army National Guard while beginning his real estate career in October 2012. He was later called back to active duty and assigned to the Operational Security Company, 102nd General Support Battalion, as an Information Operations Officer. He subsequently served as the Public Affairs Officer in Charge for the 36th Infantry Division at Camp Mabry, Texas.
During his National Guard career, Mike supported multiple Texas Southwest Border missions from 2014 through 2025 and completed additional overseas assignments in Kuwait and Germany. He concluded his military career as the Texas Military Department Joint Task Force Lone Star Public Affairs Officer in Charge, retiring in November 2025 after more than four years in that position and more than 20 years of military service.
